Split Decision Promotional Short Film Poster

In this fight, you truly are your own worst enemy.

I designed this promotional poster in close collaboration with amateur mixed martial arts fighter Daniel Glidewell for a promotional short film. The cinematic narrative follows an MMA fighter who comes out of retirement to battle in an elite, interdimensional tournament against the greatest fighters across the multiverse—only to discover that every single opponent is a parallel universe variant of himself. The visual composition captures this sci-fi sports concept by framing a powerful central portrait of the main protagonist with his eyes directed towards his opponents—a subset of the competitors from alternate realities. The layout is anchored by a title treatment separated by a glowing divider reminiscent of the dimensional portals used to traverse these different worlds.
